Hey guys been on smf for about a year now and just noticed these threads so I figured I'd give it a shot. Been scrapping for about 4 years, very small time. Got introduced when I was young building fences for my old mans company he would always take old chain link wire and rail to scrap and eventually I realized there was all kinds of metal junk in the woods where I live (suburbs of Buffalo). Old cars, trailer axles, garbage cans, stove, fence, etc. Fell in love with it and been doing it as a hobby ever since. I work in environmental services full time so all scrap is bonus money. One side note, with everyone talking about how bad prices are by them I feel lucky here in Buffalo, I guess were not hit as hard because were pretty close to the coast. That's all I got smf, long live scrapping!
