    Howdy all

Hello all been a scrap metal junkie since a kid. I started blacksmithing in 1988 at eight years old. Now I do everything from forging to welding to casting and machining. Looking forward to sharing and learning.

Thank you Jedimaster. I'm in Indiana in the United States I would post a pic of a functioning AR15 lower built from 11ga plate, rail road spikes, and a plethora of other scrap but alas cannot figure out how to upload pics for the life of me lol.

The lower I made from 11ga plate, rail spikes, and assorted scrap. The trigger group was one bought from palmetto state arms and the upper is milspec I built from parts.

eventually I will finish a steel upper too, I'll post more pics when I do.
