    Salutations

Greetings everyone. This is my first time posting anything, but I have a lot of questions about scrapping metal and this seems to be a good place to start. I am currently gathering up everything around that looks like it can be valuable and looking for places to scrap for cash. I am more then welcome to any legit buyers looking for computer parts, car parts, and pipes.

Welcome to the forum. Hold onto what you have for now. Read read read the old threads and the buyers/sellers forum for some great education. 73, Mike

    What Mike said above!

Welcome to the forums from a sandbar off the coast of NC.

An totally off topic but whenever I see someone use the word "salutations" I think of that book Charlotte's Web. I know weird..but hey..it was a good book!

When I read the word "salutations" I am reminded of the draft notice letter during the Vietnam war. It started: Greeting and salutations your friends and neighbors have chosen you to......." Anyway my sister got a draft notice her first name is Sandy and no she didn't have to go into the military.

See how Sirscrapalot can really derail a thread, its entirely his fault. Mike

It's only derailed if you ride the train on through the detour!

An I did stay on topic for most of the post. :P

    An...once more..welcome to the forum!

“And then, just as Wilbur was settling down for his morning nap, he heard again the thin voice that had addressed him the night before.
    "Salutations!" said the voice.
Wilbur jumped to his feet. "Salu-what?" he cried.
    "Salutations!" repeated the voice.
"What are they, and where are you?" screamed Wilbur. "Please, please, tell me where you are. And what are salutations?"
"Salutations are greetings," said the voice. "When I say 'salutations,' it's just my fancy way of saying hello or good morning.”

Welcome to SMF from the left coast, I can only add what Miked already said: hold for now & read the old threads, then read some more, then go put the reading to work until it works for you! Again welcome to SMF.
