Welcome to SMF from the Dakotas. Some states will pay between five and fifteen cents each for cans that were bought in their state. In the Dakota's our only choice is to sell them to the scrape yard. Iowa is the closest state paying a rebate on them and the can has markings to identify it. I am not sure about your part of the country, but assume you might have to take them to the scrapper. Good luck.
