New to this scrap metal game (business) Looking to build business to help vets

Hello All I am a little new to the scrap metal business (6 months) I am a semi retired techie. I am interested in making money
the most efficient way possible. Hoping to generate jobs for ex military and ex felons. Got a long way to go before any of that
happens. Quick learner so If anyone have any advice besides the one a guy gave me before I started like there is no money in this. And he did not know I knew a couple of friends of his that know he was making stupid money I am happy to hear it.

its good your in California probably plenty of waste to around however I would say regulations may be some of the toughest in the US........Read the forum and perhaps speak with some of the guys from your area who are into recycling

Great advise already given so follow it. The education available here on the forum can not be matched and all it takes is reading the old threads. You have a particular interest now but after reading you will be able to recognize other opportunities that you can take advantage of.
