19 year old scrapper from Arkansas

Hey y'all, I'm xander, recently started scrapping to save up for college cause all my money for my normal job goes to bills. To think three years ago I couldn't wait to be an adult with my own place. I wish i could slap young me every time I said that. But anyway I decided to call my business natural state recycling. Still on the fence about getting my llc.

Thank you all for being so welcoming, and yes sirscrapalot we do exist. And I'm kinda embarrassed to say that I got buried in the archives for two months and forgot to make an account until now. Thanks to this website I learned how to break down a couple of old drinking fountains I found and I found out that I didn't have to just take the compressors in. So glad I asked for an angle grinder for my birthday, I would have missed out on so much if I hadn't.

@Xander...Ha! That was for ScrappaT. Sorry for the confusion!

An yes you young scrappers do exist we have several on here right around your age, an younger even! They do quite well, so I'm sure you will to. Make use of our lovely forums an you'll recieve a lifetime education on the wonderful world of scrap. Tons of very helpful info out there from our members, old, new, an present. The time you spend reading will save you lots of $$, as you won't have the pleasure of throwing away money like the rest of us if you do take the time to read past threads.

We also have plenty of awesome buyers for all your selling needs here. Stand up group. Pay on time, and quite helpful to boot if you have questions on how they prefer things.

Good luck to you, and remember....you got a whole forum of experienced scrappers from all types of scrapping for you to learn from and ask questions to. Just use that search box first. Makes it easier so your not asking something that's been asked 50 bajillion times before.

I've been playing this game for over ten years and I'm still on the fence about going llc. The only thing holding me back is having to pay an extea 300 to have a second set of taxes done. From my other full time job.....no thanks.. maybe after I find more constent material sources during the winter months..
