    Hello! IT nerd turned Scrapper

    Hi all!

I have been lurking for a few months as I needed something to do this summer while I take Calc 2 for my EE degree. I have a degree in IT and have worked in the field for a few years. So this summer I decided to fix up some older computers and place them on ebay! I got my first one completed and listed on ebay *WOOT* (cant post links ) but no sells yet so hopefully I did not waste a bunch of time and money on buying these old machines.

Now not everything can be fixed or is worth fixing. I got a bunch of blade servers for a buck a piece at auction but they seem to be worth more in scrapping from what I have read and studied up so thats what we will be doing. these are multi slot hi-grade boards form what I can tell so 120lbs at $3.75 seems like a good deal to me. The only thing im not sure of is what I should do with the steel cases...

Either way ill be here a lot this summer try to figure out the game plan to escrap and refurbishing!

Thanks for everyones thoughts and comments on this forum!

    -Ray
