I do love the TV shows of Stargate SG-1, Atlantis, and Universe, as well as the movies. On the scrapping side, I am 17 now, and I have been scrapping metals since I was 8. I am also now scrapping computers and electronics, which are more immediately profitable for me. I have been doing that for about 4 years now. I live in a townhome currently and don't have a lot of space yet to do a large amount of things, but I do have a table with a nice computer for entertainment and the table is also for setting my current projects on. I also have one shelf and two server racks that I use as shelves to store my equipment, upcoming scraps, and sorting bins on. I currently save just about everything, and because of the lack of space, I am now considering just tossing out steel. I get so much, that I fill up my box for it very quick. Other than that, I collect all copper, aluminum, brass, insulated wire, and am starting to collect and stockpile tantalum. I have been loving scrapping computers and such because those are very profitable.

Sounds like you are off to a great start !. I am a Sci Fi fan myself so I like all those shows and many more. Ahhh space is ALWAYS an issue- even for me with 2 garages and a good size driveway I guess I am lucky
to be able to fill em up with goodies. Trying to move out to a small warehouse hopefully soon.
Maybe instead of tossing away the steel you could work a deal and trade it for more E scrap- for me the steel is just a by product of the e scrap but I also collect it from other sources along with
heavy stuff like brake rotors, drums and other car parts. when I get a good load of it I take it over the the yard along with copper wire, brass lamps and fixtures, batteries ( and copper if the market is good ).
E- scrap is my main driver of profit and it sounds like it's yours too. If you have not yet, check out the buyers on this forum most all great to deal with and can help you to maximize your paychecks.
    Good luck.

I've been looking into that. I also get so much steel from computer towers and their PSUs and such. I have a large box that I put it all in on top of my widest shelf and it fills up quick. I took a load by in late July and now, my box is at least 200 pounds already. I also scrap tube tvs only for the copper, aluminum, and any tantalum capacitors. Those are the ones I am just now getting around to start stockpiling. I found a buyer for them and the keyboard myars I have here on the forum.

Welcome to the forum. Keep reading and you will learn more you don't know you don't know. So far you seem to be doing great with limited space. 73, Mike
