    An Introduction

    Hello everyone,

My name is Brendan Watson, but you can refer to me as Tidal if that suits better. I was informed that introducing myself to the forum would be a good idea. Here's a few things about myself that would be related to this field of work.

    1. I run a computer repair/recycling business named Tidal Computer Technologies. It operates out of central/southern Illinois. The idea came from me being in a business class as a senior in high school. It first started as just a repair shop for consumers, but I needed something for businesses to notice me. That's when i came across the e-recycling business. Every e-recycling business around me charges fees for their service, but since I am a one-man gig I don't need to charge a fee. Currently I am in the process of signing contracts with 2 large school districts, and 2 repair shop businesses.

    2. Being that I am new, any advice would be very helpful. I will be going back and looking at older threads to see how others operate their business.

    3. I am also looking to talk with a few personal scrap buyers. So if anyone here wants to talk about how much they usually are willing to pay for in regards to certain pounds of certain grade motherboards for example that would also be appreciated.

Thank you all for reading and have a wonderful Sunday.

    -Tidal

Thank you for the intro. Read the old threads while keeping up with the current ones and you will get your education. Take the time to read the buyer and sellers forum. You will notice that they have comments/reviews by members who have used them. I highly recommend you look at our buyers( I am NOT a buyer, at least at this time). 73, Mike
