EWastePaul - Welcome to SMF, you will find a little gold, put it in the "little" gold bucket as you fill your other bigger buckets.

Welcome from Mesa Az. I have family in Mt Home, Salesville and Norfork Arkansas in the northern part of the state about an hours drive south from Branson. A little gold is an understatement. Around here any E-waste that might have some recyclable gold in it sells for a fortune. I scrap for a hobby as well plus I repurpose. I mainly deal in copper, aluminum Brass, Iron and shred steel. The only thing I am selling right now it shred steel for 3 cents a pound. The hazardous materials needed to extract gold is not something I want to be exposed to especially at my home. Good luck scrapping. It's fun as long as you keep your overhead low and don't buy anything. I haul for free but get to pick and choose what I do and when. Most of all if it's not free for the taking and within a reasonable distance don't haul it.

I am very familiar with the northern part of the state. I am in it for the hobby aspect but if I make a few cents along the way I aint gonna complain!!! No young'uns around my house and I am using household chemicals so I feel safe with what little I use. I am following all safety procedures and using PPE. I may be an old fart but I don't wanna be a dead turd!!
