    Hello From Alaska

    Hello Everyone!
I guess I'm a Hobby Scrapper/Hoarder. May need to turn it up a notch to help clean out the yard, have collected for over 30 years but haven't let loose of much. I have dabbled in e-scrap/refining as well as evidenced by my avatar. Into Rocks & Minerals as well and Most outdoor activities. Have a great day! shaftsinkerawc

Welcome to the forum. Must be hard scrapping with all that cold weather you folks endure. We are just now entering our cold season and it does make things more difficult when forced to work in unheated spaces. Love to hear how you work through the freeze.

Welcome from Mesa az. It's a nice 70 degrees here today with light rain. I haul scrap for people for free as long as they give it all to me. What's it like in Alaska? Is there really much surplus that would be given away.

I've worked construction so always something to haul home at the end of shift. I don't do a lot but haul home in the winter unless its small enough to bring in the living room and disassemble or is above +10* F. Biggest hangup right now is less than 4 Hours of daylight.

Welcome to the forum. Isn't the secret to breaking down scrap in Alaska just spray water on it and and wait til spring thaw?

Hang out and read as many of the old threads as you can stand. Also enjoy the goats. Why goats? Cause they're just funny. 73, Mike
