    The Kwikset locks are worthless. Some of the industrial locks like Best and Corbin will be solid brass.

    Most of the Kwikset locks are a thin brass layer over zinc die cast. The knobs themselves are usually thin brass.
    If it wasn't for the $ in $crap, it would just be.....
