Welcome.......I spent almost 25 years in the Pasadena area...love to visit now...love living back home in GA. Really got introduced to scrapping when I lived with a family in Glendale. The mother was raised on a farm in Iowa during the depression and pinched Lincoln's head off !! Her husband was a businessman and had a gift for making money but he could not convince his wife that she did not have to go out "scrapping" in case they went broke. They lived in an affluent neighborhood, in a million dollar house and had two Mercedes. But she had two beat up old vans and went around outrunning the garbage collectors grabbing the scrap before they picked it up. This is getting to0 long, but it was 30 years AFTER that, that I got I started scrapping. duh !
