two scrap cars with no paperwork

how do I get someone to take these cars? I need to get rid of them. Late 80's (88 and 89) Toryota Celica ragtop GT's.
don't run, have been in a garage for almost twenty years, clean exteriors, interiors are so so, and they have not been started the whole time. no idea about the engines or tranmissions.

You can put them on the free section of Craiglist. Someone will come pick them up most likely. If you want money for them that will be harder without the titles. You can also scrap them yourself if you have some time, a good tool set and a sawzall. You'll make a few hundred dollars between the cores and converters, and a bit more for the scrap metal itself.

I can buy the catalytic converters if you decide to scrap the cars yourself.

Have you checked in with your state DMV about getting titles? I know that folks in the Northeast would be very interested in those cars if they could be put back on the road. All the cars here rust out in about ten years from new. Older cars can garner a premium $$. Here in NY there is a process to get title but it can take about 6 months.

ETA: Also call a local scrap yard. I think they do take cars of a certain age without title. Title is basically required to make sure the vehicles aren't stolen.

You can also check Craigslist for people who by junk cars. Some will buy them without titles.
