    New member in NC

    Hi,
    My name is Alex. I have some cars to dispose of and some free time. New to scrapping but not to mechanic work, would like to try to break them down and see what I can get out of them.

    Welcome to the forum from Las Vegas! Remember that acrap is normally the lowest value so try selling parts and cores before taking them to the scrapyard. Good luck and have fun!

    Hello,
    I live in Sylva, but travel to Elkin and Sparta area often.

    Thanks for the advice. Most of them are my parts cars so I plan to break them all the way down and sell all parts and cores I can.

    Welcome to the forum. You have been given some great advise already. If scrapping is going to be a full time thing for you, then read everything here and when you are done, start over. There is a ton of info and many questions have been answered already. There are a few "car" scrappers here and their threads should help you get a start on things.
