Cool Hi Friends, I am new.

    Hello all,

First time on the site, this place is cooooooool man. Just started scrapping, as in this week. Finally bought a truck, 86 Ford Ranger Supercab. Saving for my trailer and I am in business. Picked up a couple dishwashers today, began ripping them apart. This stuff is fun man.... and you get paid! Anyway, i'll shut up. Happy Scavenging friends!

P.S. Anyone local to the Charlotte, NC area?

Welcome to the forum. I'm on the coast. My best advise is to continue to read the old threads and keep up with the new ones. By reading the old threads you will move very quickly to making more money.

Each of us has a different situation so as you read you will begin to recognize opportunities. 73, Mike

Welcome from the Buffalo Commons. MikeD has some great advice for you. When I was younger I got in trouble for breaking things, now they pay me money to do it. Good luck to you and welcome to a great place to learn and share.

Thanks guys! I just went to town on an old dryer, didn't get much but some copper wiring. But I had fun, breaking **** is relaxing man. Also, are the gold brackets attached to the copper wire worth anything, once i've acquired pounds??

Welcome to the forum from Las Vegas. The dishwashers and the dryer should all have some motors for you too. They also often have a brass valves.
