Hello from Dallas, thank you for the add. I recently bought a small pallet of computers ( on an impulse buy), even tho I know ABSOLUTELY nothing about computers.... I don't even own one! I have alot of questions..this is 100% foreign to me.

Hi and welcome to the forum from Las Vegas! Virtually everything you need to know about disassembling and recycling computers has been posted in this forum already, often many times over! I recommend taking the time to read up on those old threads, the time spent will be paid back many times over through maximizing your scrap or resale value. Congrats on the pallet of computers and welcome again to the forum!
Hi Michelle9583, and Welcome to SMF from Indiana...JJinLV has already given you the best advice, but if you still have any questions, just ask...Good Luck...

An welcome from a sandbar off the coast of NC.
Tons of info hidden through out the forum. Most topics we've touched on at some point I'm sure, but you never know. May be a question we haven't answered yet!
Our forum here, an I'm not trying to brag...is awesome. Tons of info, helpful folks, great staff, etc etc. We have quite the cast of characters and just above every path of scrapping from ewaste(electronic waste) to freaking scrapping a train. We got folks who do this as a hobby an we got folks who've worked for yards, we got buyers of all shapes an sizes, from Video Games(Hi Metal!) to computers/ewaste(Hello to all our buyers). Best part is...it's all free!
Take advantage of all this info. If it was in book form it'd be priceless I tell you.
Take the time to read, an you to shall profit like the rest of us. Oh an it helps to have a sense of humor, we got quite the cast of characters here. I should know, most people would say I'm one of them.
Good luck!
