    Number 2 Auto Bundles

    Hello,

I am new to this forum. I am planning to buy a auto logger/baler to bale automobiles. My question is whether its worth to invest in logger/baler and do steel mills pay good money for auto bales which I assume called as #2 bundles. Does anyone aware of the #2 bundle price in Phoenix, AZ?

    Thanks in advance.

    MP

Bailed cars end up getting ran through a shredder ... wholesale prices can very a lot depending on were you are and the monthly volume you can produce !

    Couple questions for you>>
    1. Do you have a place to set it up?
    2. Are you going to have access to enough cars to keep it going?
    3. Do you have the equipment to drain the fluids?
    4. What are you going to do with the drained fluids
    5. Have you considered pulling cores that pay more then scrap value before crushing the vehicle?
    6. At the very least pull the aluminum wheels

If you are going to buy a baler. The top three brands are Al-jon ( which is now called C&c ) Overbuilt and Sierra . We have been running Al-jon balers since 2000. You can bale washer dryer tin and other misc metal also .

They are not called number 2 bundles . A number 2 bundle would be all clean metal . It would have to be certain thickness of metal and length. You could look it up on ISRI website. Most people would call bale cars . Shred log or shred . Before you buy a baler make sure you have an end market. Some steel mills have shredder on site . Some buy their shred material from other shredders.

Why are you wasting our time with this BS, the picture showing what you claim to be 500 tons of scrap cars sitting in Phoenix actually came from a site in Poland.

Here;s the url to the site that owns that picture Na czym polega kasacja pojazdów | Katalog firm w Polsce - Welcome2Poland.eu

And here is the meta data for that image your using to sell 500 tons of scrap cars.
