How to cope with China's ban of scrap plastic import?

As you know, China will strictly implement "ban of scrap/waste plastic" from the beginning of 2018. If some people still think it is just a dead letter as previous years, then the "Blue Sky" action of China Customs verified 138,500 tons scrap plastic and destroyed 5 criminal groups who smuggle solid waste, which shows the "ban of scrap/waste plastic" is not a joke.

Just the same as the Chinese government's determeination and actions on the anti-corruption issue, the environmental protection is absolutely true this time."we want both golden, silver hill and lucid waters, lush mountains as well; we prefer lucid waters and lush mountains to golden, silver hills, cause lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets", which is instructed by Chinese president Xi Jinping at 2017 National People's Congress on environmental issues.

One side is the policy adjustment, and the other side is market demand. There is no place to go for half of the world's garbage, and it makes the whole industry chain into chaos. How should we do? Making quick choice is the only way.
    1. Looking for new places to import scrap materials, such as China's neighboring countries or other developing countries. In fact, the "ban of scrap/waste plstic" is not a sudden. Many Chinese enterprises have changed processing places to other countries, which have little limit with importing scraps, and this also lead to huge import demand.

2.Upgrading waste processing equipment to meet the requirements of the Chinese government on imported materials. Improving waste quality and reducing pollution level could share the pollution factor of importing countries at a certain extent. It is also the basis for waste recycling to promote recyclable economy.

The above two ways have their advantages and disadvantage. Choosing other export channels could only solve the temporary problem, cause waste garbage is indeed difficult to be processed, and it will led to heavy pollution. In the global day, all the leaders aware that China's today is their tomorrow if they still allow to import scrap materials. The reason why China wants to change its policy is that the environmental pollution in China has reached a very serious stage. In the future, the pollution rate of all countries will certainly be faster than the previous ones. Therefore, the capable countries will soon issue relevant policies to restrict the import of waste materials. in December 2017, Vietnam has issued the No. 155/2016 /ND-CP Decree, which has raised the administrative penalties for violating the environmental protection laws and regulations. Thus, new export channels may be cut off at any time.

Then upgrading the processing equipment has become an inevitable trend in this industry. With the development of science and technology, there are already many specialized machines that can be used for the sorting, cleaning and decontamination of garbage, and various forms of waste disposal machines are manufactured by the principles of optics, chemistry and physics, such as cleaner, crusher, granulator. Meanwhile, the Chinese government also does not completely restrict the import of waste materials, and it is clear that processed waste granules could continue to be imported.

Thus, look for new export chanels and upgrade your equipment, and then you will be NO.1 in this scrap revolution.
