Welcome to the forum. I would think that you should be looking the other way if your just going to start out in the scrap field. Start with the "other" materials and work your way to learning about scrapping vehicles. Because it traceable personal property, there is going to be a lot of paperwork involved, not like scrapping junk piles. Depending on your local area and what you really want, look into
e-waste if the demographics of your area can support it. And just make sure your state paperwork is all done right because you really don't want that knock on the door at any given time.
