    i think he is selling #1 copper or bare bright copper. hard to tell
    Currently looking for a job in or related to scrap/recycling. Relocation is possible for the right offer.

    Not trying to throw "shade" here.. but how does one collect 5k of Bare Bright Copper and not have a plan for how to sell it?

    Would be like me collecting 5K lbs of motherboards and not having a clue what to do with them. Seems as if during the collection period you may have asked this question sooner?
    I'm so into scrapping.. When my Steel Toe Boots Wear out, I cut the Steel out of them and recycle the Toe!

    Maybe he thought people here would be offering him more that scrap price for it. But Sledge is right no you have to figure it out what to do with it.

    I dunno... I once witnessed a dude with AT LEAST 100# of ram at the scrapyard. I asked, they were paying a buck a pound for it.

    How does some tweaker dumb enough to sell $1300 bucks worth of RAM for barely enough for a teenth even get their hands on that much RAM?
