Hi my name is Nathan and I am a scrapper.

Hi. I just wanted to say hello. My name is Nathan and I joined the forum a few days ago. I have a full time job and have been trying to make money scrapping to put aside for my kids to have fun with or save for later. I have been taking apart a lot of microwaves lately, old welders, collecting a lot of car, lawn, batteries. I purchased the refrigerant recovery blueprint and will be getting my type 1 epa certification this week and buying my recovery machine very soon as well. I PROMISE TO always try to read the forums first before asking a question and ask forgiveness ahead of time for my lack of knowledge. P.S. I'm sorry for lack of paragraphs; typing on a cellphone.

Welcome. I don't know your situation, but if your taking apart a lot of microwaves and welders I would suggest using a splitting maul if your young enough to still do that kind of stuff. thats what I use now. Way quicker than taking all the bolts and screws off like i used to.

Since you're already taking apart microwaves, check out our buyer section. There is a buyer now for microwave and other appliance control boards. Read his testing procedures before dismantling and you can turn them into extra cash.
