Hi my name is casey, I own an auto repair shop so it's only fitting that we join a forum like this to learn from the seasoned scrappers. I've been scrapping mostly cars, trucks and vans but was thinking about getting into everything else. I am looking to learn more about the wiring, appliances and other ways to make some cash. Looking forward to the whole forum.

Hey welcome to the forum from Las Vegas! If you've come to learn this is the right place. There is a tremendous amount of information in the threads of this forum. The time you spend reading will be rewarded time and again both in streamlining your efficiency and maximizing your return. You'll do a better job of both keeping some stuff out of landfills and other stuff in your pockets if you take the time to study the old threads here. FWIW it's worth, when I moved to Las Vegas I was looking to scrap just to make ends meet while finding proper work and now, thanks to this forum and the education I've gained here, I've opened a small full-time scrap business.
