    New Business

    Hello,

    My name is Elbert and I hail from down south in New Orleans. I am a GC by trade and we run a fairly sizable construction operation. I have been watching the amount of waste metal we produce in house over the years and decided to start another company to deal with the scrap. I have a 7k sq ft warehouse (not ideal for scrapping I am learning) we are using now to sort items in gaylords. I purchased a 10k Avery Weightronix scale to keep records and we are giving things a go. I am joining up to talk shop with like minded professionals and look forward to civil discourse!

    Welcome to the forum. there are huge volumes of information available in the old threads. I suggest you take some time just reading what's of interest to you and then look at the bottom of each thread for a list of similar threads.

    Of course the old threads have prices that are dated but the processes described are informative.

    As to the civil discourse situation I warn you some of us like goats and talking about goats and providing photos of goats.
