Good day ladies and gently-men. My name is J.D. and I live in Southeast Missouri. I am recently divorced after 36 years of bittersweet bliss and broke as a convict, literally. So, in order to get a few gallons of gas for my truck, and possibly a six pack(craving emoji here...lol) I have begun rummaging through my attic and garage in hopes that I can gather up enough scrap to accomplish just that. I have spent the last hour or so, reading threads and posts anonymously, without registering to find an answer to a particular question but...to no avail. One thing I did gather was that you folks are smart, hardworking etc but very critical of the whippersnappers that appear here wanting to harvest all of your years of knowledge without any investment of time and effort. I will tread lightly, but If I do pose a question, please keep in mind...1) I know diddly squat about scrapping, beyond beer can level....2) I have invested some time and effort before asking my stupid question!
