In the beginning at least: work cheap, great customer service, hustle, work long hours, look and act professional, do what others can’t/won’t, and get the most of your metals.

Welcome to SMF from a southern neighbor. You have already taken the best advice to reduce the learning curve by joining SMF, the University of Scrap (US for short). Since you did not indicate specifics about your situation, the experts in each area will be timid to chime in. Therefore the best advice is the Advance Search button in the upper right hand corner of this page. You will find more knowledge than your head can absorb. Newer threads will also have pictures, but many of the older ones may not compliments of Photo Bucket. Good luck and keep us posted.
Give back more to this world than we take.

Welcome to the forum. You have been given the best advise by Patriot76. Go throught he old forums and start reading. Waiting for advise that may have already been given some time ago may be relavent and worth your while to read. When I found this forum, it was still young and still have a load of reading to do. Spending for the membership was also worth every penny.

    Good luck and happy scrapping.
