Hi all..
After going through several threads I upgraded myself to a 37$ subscription package because new trade war between USA vs China/Turkey ringing some bell in my mind.
My past 10 years went developing some websites and e-comm portals. Now I really want to have a change of carrier. Aluminium /copper/ e-waste are indeed shinning my eye lot.
Hoping to get a good long term connect from this platform before I die (before 99 years)

Welcome to the forum. I suggest you think local rather than international until you have the contacts and money to make big moves.
Lots of what we may do here may not work where you are but learn to adapt to your circumstances.

I always enjoy when we get members from outside the US. An from places I wouldn't imagine. Like the others above my post I enjoy reading, an learning about how other cultures/countries do their scrap thing. Except Canada. I just like to pick on those guys.( I kid eh, I kid eh) Love me some Canadians they usually got a sense of humor despite the bad taste in beer. :P
So...good luck to you, an I hope you find some advice/tips/tricks you can adapt to your own situation and make of use to you.

Its highly unorganised. During good old days (before the boom of internet) scrapers take their bicycle with Balance weight estimator yelling for any scrap metal exchange. You know what you get in return for the scrap? Eatable dates, rice and some cereal seeds.
There is a nomadic gypsys group called Narikurava who holds a rod with powerful magnet at the end of it. They keep wandering the streets and collect iron.
Things are changing now after the impact of Internet. People now could explore the international opportunity. Aluminium , copper and other non-ferrous metals are having high demand as the country grows. Its needed in defence, housing, copper for electronics etc.

Point taken. After several study I found out that price of aluminium is cheep compared to my local market. Its a huge story of few market players which I prefer not to discuss.

Yes I agree. I have had some interactions with bulk scrap suppliers of USA/CA/EU. They sell in Metric Tons. But when I explored in this forum I find the price are far more compared to what the bulk suppliers have quoted. It still puzzles me.
