Hello Fellow Scrappers

Hi all, My name is Peggy, I am a 62 year old female that was recentlly laid off my job, so i decided to try scrapping to make money. I dont have a truck. so I concentrate more on the smaller, higher paying alloys to sell. Recently a restaurant,where my son worked, did some remodeling and gave me some stainless steel to haul away. That got me into scrapper fever, because I made 77.00 when I sold it Next I tried a swimming pool pump motor. I took it apart to get all of the copper out of it, which turned out to be quiet a job. I didnt know how to cut the motor apart to get all the copper at once, so I took the copper out strand by strand. Three days later, I cashed it in for a little over 1.00. lol Good times. Im learning though, and my goal is to eventually get a truck. Im in Arizona and Craigslist is always full of free stuff to haul away. So youve got an old lady here trying to learn a new trick of the trade. Hope you dont mind if I ask your advice every once in awhile. Thanks, Peggy
