    Hello y'all

    Hey everyone. I am in Troutman, NC and just got serious about scrapping and such. Been dumpster diving and garbage picking for years but never to make any money just because I saw worth in an item that someone else didn't.

    Did have one question though. I joined and paid for membership to the Scrap Room but have yet to receive any confirmation or anything about how to access it. Paid about two weeks ago and nothing yet. Anything I may have missed?

    Welcome to the forum Steve. I think the holidays could possibly be delaying things. Some people may still be opening presents and recovering from hangovers. No worries though. Start reading current and old posts. There's plenty in them to keep you busy for a long time. You could also open a support ticket and maybe someone will see it.

    So back to my question about the Scrap Room membership...I paid for the membership through PayPal on 12/26/18 but I still have not received access or notification of that membership being activated. Since then I submitted two different support tickets about a week and a half apart but never received any ticket number of notification that the support ticket was even opened so I have no way to track it. I also tried to start a thread in the support forum to get an answer but the post was never approved. You can see why I am getting a little testy and frustrated. Is the site on autopilot or am I just being impatient?

    I just updated my ticket that was opened on 12/9/18. I go and update it every few days with no results so welcome to the club. The money was well spent though because there is so much information that you can access now. I would still be pissed if I paid for a membership and wasn't able to access what I should be able to access.
    If it makes you feel any better, know that there ain't s**t going on in the private "Scrap Room". It's definitely overrated.
    If that upsets some people, so be it.

    Unfortunately you may just have to start a "charge back" on your pay-pal account........that may get their attention
