Old guy here. Started scrapping regularly about a year ago. Mostly do small vehicles but looking for bigger stuff (Buses, trucks) not interesting to the competition. Is there a photo size limit for new members?

Gidday Darren from down under in NewZealand.
Keen to hear ( & see ) what you are scrapping down n the bigger stuff like trucks/buses.
I scrapped a few truck cabs out & found some neat stuff, the 24-12v converters, a diesel cabin heater, I think they are worth good $ second hand, it's like US$2000 new ( I think )
Ripping out the wiring was easy. But fibreglass cabins don't return much metal. Some nice solid Aluminium parts & Brass too.
I once found a 'ratcheting adjustable spanner' ( "Crescent' in NZ, it's a brand name thing )
It should have been called 'Rounds nuts off while simultaneously de-skinning your knuckles'....
Don't mess with the vacuum brake diaphragm housing. There's a huge spring in there that's under tension.
We used to recycle truck chassis as farm bridges for getting over small streams/creeks.
And yep, you have to make a certain amount of posts here, I think it's 5, before you can post pics.
But we LOVE pics....

Welcome from Eastern, PA! We do love pics once you are allowed to share them!
Welcome to the forum. You will need more posts to qualify to add photos, perhaps 10 posts I'm not sure. So go read some posts and add your comment and you will soon meet the requirements. 73, Mike
