Hello out there.



I'm looking sell all and everything to one person on a 100 acre equipment yard beside highway 17 in Petawawa, Ontario filled with construction, logging and vintage cars and trucks that have been sitting for 10 years.

10 heavy transports in rolling conditions.
1 excavator and 1 backhoe.
6 heavy front in loaders.
15 heavy trailers and floats.
4 logging skidders.
1 bulldozer.
2 large sand blasters and compressor.
50 rare- two door cars and pickup trucks from the 40s 50s and 60s.
20 90s trucks and cars.
100+ tones of various scarp metals.

If the price is right sounds like a good deal for someone

You might do better hiring an auctioneer. Many buyers competing for each item, but at the end of the auction, it's all sold...

Yep, i think a proper auctioneer. They know how to handle it, due diligence ( i hate that word, but.. ) insurance & liabilitys.
At least that way whoever buys it has to remove it & it goes to the highest bid buyer. Theres no 'dealing', its over in a day & gone in two & you have your money that week.

Any metal thats pre 1943 is free of radioactivity & worth more than normal scrap.
Old cars are getting decient money these days. What used to be scrapmetal, probably isn't any more.

1. Scrap metal is down right now especially iron. I would hold onto your metal if you can until the price increases.
2. Auctions are a good idea IF you have an idea what the items are worth. I would set reserves.
3. Make sure you have titles for all the vehicles ready to be 100% legally ready to be sold.
4. Scrap is the LAST resort. Re-sell, parts, drive it yourself, sell to friends cheap, etc. are always better options.
5. Do research first. Never do anything in hurry.
