    Allow Myself to Introduce,... Myself!

Gday fellow scrappers, my name is CJ I am 40 years old and reside in the razor thin slither of space between overstressed and flat out insanity. Don’t even ask about the weather! Although I am sure there are others who live nearby, I also have been known to hang myself, I mean My Hat. That’s what I meant to say! My Hat! In Knoxville, Tn. I am Married these past 22years to my best friend, high school sweetheart, and the Very First to look me dead in the eyes and scream, I’m Pregnant You P.O.S! Because you know, it only takes two when it doesn’t involve your wife, with her it’s always my fault and I have come to accept and embrace it! We have the previously mentioned offspring from said pregnancy. She is 20yrs old, and currently trying to decide how to make sure I am broke for the next decade. I mean Medical School! She’s trying to decide on Med School! Boy I keep misspeaking tonight!

Anyways, along with my brother who is two years my junior, I co-own a brand new business called Greater Good Ventures. Our ultimate goal is to make this world better then the way y’all made it, I mean than we found it! I tell ya, these words tonight, it must be this stupid keyboard! Anyways I am only truly happy when I am doing for others. On a sadder note, my mother is in a Hospice facility in Middle Tn and will probably not live to see her 59th birthday. So that’s weighing heavy on us this holiday season, and I’ll better explain the situation in another post. The reason I have joined this forum, is that one of our first purchases, was a storage facility in Murfreesboro, Tn. It was only after we took ownership that we found a large supply of depleted or dead Lithium-ion Battery cells for the Nissan Leaf. They have been drained and ready for shipment, but apparently the owner of the units that housed all these cells, passed away this past summer and his loved ones did not care about the units he rented. So that leaves me with numerous battery cells and I own a grand total of zero electric vehicles! Any help any members can give would be fantastic and if they prove to be valuable, my brother and I have decided to use every bit of the proceeds to build and run a battered persons shelter as we were raised in an ultra abusive household and it was a shelter that saved my mother and her four children’s lives. Anyways, I’m an open book. If you want to know anything just ask! I’m happy to be here and hope you all have a Fantastic and Blessed Holiday Season!

    Kindest Regards,
    Charles “CJ” Johnson

    Hey CJ, welcome from Maine.

The electric car battery recycling seems a bit up in the air. Maybe not fully developed just yet ?

This one is kind of a neat idea. Repurpose instead of recycle.

I am a 35 yr old father of 3 with 2 wives and a girlfriend. (Dont ask, it's not the fun type) I'm in the largest city (land wise) in the usa. There is a TON of thrift stores in Houston. I tent to hit 20 or 30 of them weekly. I just started messing with scrap pewter, seems to catch a hefty resale if you buy it correctly. I melted down what I could with a torch and my oven. The higher temp stuff I left alone. Not exactly sure if I messed it all up, that's why I'm here.

We purchase laptop computers and many components for greater than scrap value. We offer a shipping reimbursement program.replies

This forum doesn’t cover refining, but I doubt using a kitchen oven is the way to go
