I just celebrated my seventh year on the forum, not the oldest member, just an old timer. As a teacher for many years, history was one of my favorite subjects. Therefore to celebrate this occasion I went back to one of my favorite threads when I started scrapping. It is just as motivational for me now as it was then. Many of the individuals you will discover in this thread are no longer members and some have died. The author is still here, although he has been known by many names. So if you want a little education on scrapping or the lifestyle, this may interest you. He had many other threads as well, but this is the one I grew up with. Hopefully others will enjoy it as well. The inspiration for posting this was the discussion centered on Johnny Carson and the influence he had on others. Thanks BG.
