Hello from Massachusetts!

Hello! I'm a musician primarily (mostly bass and guitar, mostly hard rock and metal), and have been doing electronic repairs on my instruments for a few years now. I'm just now getting into DIY effects pedals and modifying more complex electronics, and I found this forum when looking around for information on scavenging electronics components (resistors, transistors, diodes, capacitors, etc) to save money, learn and practice electronic tinkery, and reuse unwanted material to add some modicum of sustainability to my life. At the same time, I have been minimizing and downsizing stuff in my life, so the challenge will be to scavenge efficiently and only for what I'll need for my needs.
