Welcome
Thanks for the advise. I have been taking everything I can(with the exception of CRTs, TVs, and monitors because I don’t know what to do with them in my area).
Picked up a couple computers from a guy today and turns out he’s a property manager for 50 or so medium sized businesses in my area so now I’m getting flooded with pick-ups which is awesome.
Posting stuff to facebook groups has worked out great for me. Especially all the buy and sell groups in my area.
Still trying to figure out what to do with my low grade boards and power boards because I don’t know if any yards around western mass that takes them.
But overall for only have been doing this for a few days I think I’m off to a good start!
Check out the buyers/sellers section of the forum. There are several buyers within very affordable freight shipping distance of you if you have the time and space to stockpile those boards. Depending on what your yard pays, the mark-up to ship to a forum buyer might be tremendous and some really are quite close to you. You could get freight shipping under .15/lb fairly easy and even cheaper than that if you have room/time to accumulate
Hello! I am also a newbie, the forum has a lot of useful information, you just need to find it, there is everything.
I saw your Facebook posts last night.
I regards to selling, you could always sell to me. I'm in Pittsfield and have been doing E-waste for at least 10 to 13 years. When you take into account shipping to buyers on here, I will be competitive. To answer your question on low grade boards, Apkins will buy them, most likely as copper bearing. I will also buy them. Only thing Pearlmans will buy is gold finger boards or memory and only pays 75 cents. I believe Sullivan in Holyoke buys, but prices are bad. Weitsman in Albany buys, but again prices are bad.
Hi ICallahan7, welcome aboard. I'm also from western MA. I'm located in the Springfield area. Sounds like you've found a great source already. It's very addictive to break down scrap and electronics.
Hey thanks for the advise and direction on places I could go. Let me know if you wanna touch base and go over what you offer for prices.
I was planning on sending all my higher grade boards and such into EWasted as he had good prices even with shipping but I’m always open to options especially as close as you are.
As far as the power supplies and low grade boards go I’d love to get your pricing on those as I don’t really have a plan for those yet because it’s not economical to ship them unless I have a whole lot.
Thanks again I really appreciate it.
