    Returning to scrapping since early two-thousands..

    I use to haul old cars full time around 2003 and get about 0.10/lb. I think it's 0.07/lb now or lower..



    This and the scrap metal forum database are the only close-to-active virtual presence of scrappers and see, so I joined here..

    I just call the yard to get rates for what they buy, though..

    Welcome to the forum. There are lots of old threads available for education purposes. Since you have experience I don't have to tell you but others may be reading this, keep in mind that prices and costs have changed greatly over the years.     I THINK its closer to $0.03 - $0.05/lb ..... at least by me currently. But welcome!
