    Industrial Mechanic from Oklahoma City

My name’s Elijah, I’m from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. I started scrapping a couple years ago when I got in to industrial maintenance. I started scrapping copper bushings and motor stators I kept from work. Last year my grandfather sold his computer business. He had a lot of old computers, servers, and printers sitting in his shop. While he was cleaning the shop out, he threw everything in a burn pile and lit it up. Before he burned everything else I went and picked up what was left. I started tearing down all the old computer parts for scrap. Since then I’ve been collecting bad parts from my work and scrapping them. I realized how much I like the scrap process and have been spending a lot of my free time scrapping metal and e-waste. I’ve lurked this forum for a while and decided I would become active. I’m still learning since industrial electronics can be complicated but worth while. I hope to learn more and get involved in this community. Anyway, thank you guys! Hope to talk soon.

Welcome to the forum. Read the old threads to get a giant leap forward in knowledge. Do be mindful that prices have changed over the years. We do have some very good buyers here on the forum(I'm not one of them). I suggest using only the ones with recent feedback. 73, Mike

Now go beat the copper out of something, Miked
