Hello everyone my name is Kierstyn and I happened to just do a google search for "scrap metal forums" and then this lovely website was the first suggested. Basically I am new to the whole scrapping thing aside from the things my boyfriend would get at the scrapyard and have me sell on ebay for him. At first I was dumbfounded as to why he was bringing home things that people were actively getting rid of and then I searched them to list and was even more shocked. So yeah, this giant warehouse business near me went out of business, had a liquidation sale, then everything that wasnt purchased has now ended up at the scrapyard down the road, much to the delight of my boyfriend. He doesnt actually have a reason to go to the electronics scrapyard as he works in concrete restoration and structural concrete construction. He started going there after he saw all these things in boxes and sealed plastic like they were brand new he needed to knw what they were. He and I both share a hobby of electronic assembly and just making and taking apart things, I personally enjoy making bluetooth speakers out of old parts that I frankentstein together with my soldering iron. So that's all about me what are you guys into? Can i get any suggestions on what to do with the stuff that we have aquemulated? Ive made a list of the most recent items that weve gotten that are still bagged from the manufacturer. Im not sure where to post that or if anyone actually wants to read it and buy some things- mostly like industrial networking equipment and i dont know if thats a real term or not i just know by the amount of connections and length of cables that this would not be needed by just an individual. Lots of fiber optic cable and related, ummmm We have tons and tons of hubs and HDMI hubs/switches/transmitters/adapters. Things like that! Well I look forward to hearing from just about anyone. Enjoy your day and thanks for taking the time to read
