I'm a low level employee for a company that sells machinery to scrap yards for ferrous and non ferrous. So, I'm learning the business. Does that help?

That is a great way to start. The best way to learn the business is by visiting with employees at the scrap yard. If you get the chance to haul the loads for the company, I would recommend you volunteer. The vast knowledge you could gain asking questions at the yard would be well worth it, even if you have to do it on your own time. Most scrap yard employees I have met are proud and willing to share their insights. Good luck and keep us posted on your adventures.

Thank you. That is a great idea. I will see if I can get some volunteer work at one of the scrap yards we sell machinery to. I'll let you know how it goes.
