We are all on the quest for this. If you are talking e-waste or catalytic converter I dont think you'll find better deals or buyers than on here in the buying section..... Anything else, it'll all just be about your local contacts and we won't be of much help. Good luck.

Starters, alternators, E waste scrap and Cats are the things everyone wants now a days (maybe starters and alternators less by the changing trends) so i do have an idea about it will be hard to find those as a buyer at better prices, however i am more interested in Ship breaking, PNS Scrap, electric motor scrap, seal units and electric transformers recycling as these items has good supply stocks and probably enough gaps that one could find his/her space in the business with lesser competition. I am already in international trading so i see local suppliers as a good potential for my lesser price wish cause you know, lesser hands in a deal means lesser price and what could be more better than direct deal from the supplier.Thank you for your comment, i really appreciate you sharing your experience here. Thanks again!

Wish I could help, but you are well beyond my level. I just like to break things.
Give back more to this world than we take.

If you are doing ship breaking and international stuff if anything we should be asking YOU for advice. We are mostly casual or local level scrappers here. Other than the buyers in the buyers thread, and possibly a few other that work at yards.... but either way, unless you have specific questions or offers I don't think anyone here can help in just "finding deals" for you.

    What Is a Finder's Fee?

A finder's fee (also known as "referral income" or "referral fee") is a commission paid to an intermediary or the facilitator of a transaction. The finder's fee is rewarded because the intermediary discovered the deal and brought it to the attention of interested parties. The presumption is that without the intermediary, the parties never would have found the deal, and the facilitator thus warrants compensation.

Depending on the circumstance in which the deal is established or completed, the finder's fee can be paid by either the transaction's buyer or seller.

    Key Takeaways

    • A finder's fee or referral fee is a commission paid to the person or entity that facilitated a deal by linking up a potential customer with an opportunity.
    • A finder's fee is a reward and an incentive to motivate the facilitator of the transaction to keep providing referrals to the buyer or seller in the deal.
    • The terms of a finder's fee can vary from deal to deal, with a payout usually representing a percentage of the completed sale; in some cases, the "fee" is just an informal gift.

Thank you for your response!

Surely you can ask me things related to trade, recycling, i will try to answer and share my experience. I want to know what prices local yards are asking (Sale) for materials like Cu wire scrap, Seal units, Electric motor scrap, Transformers, mix consignments and few other materials. If i can get better cost in any specific region of US than other parts like south cost. I am working on making connection with direct local scrap yards that may save me a dollar or more compared to working with international suppliers.
