Scrap Catalytic Converters

Ciao Everyone- I am a new member there has to be. A Reason why Destiny opened this site to me. My son and I began 5 months ago trying to earn some xtra money to help us out. He lives in Maryland I’m up in Mass. Person who talked us into starting kept telling us he was helping us, he was only taking 5% for him & 5% for recycler. Well. My son & I were taken Advantage of Big Time. So I found us a recycler, well his prices were low when my eyes were opened to what converters are valued a then God & destiny took me to a Decannery/Refinery, Good prices but one problem- I cannot get quotes when I’m trying to buy and have little knowledge of prices of Scrap Catalytic Converters. Now I’m on this forum. Therefore excuse me for this lengthy message, I’m just letting all know this is my story. Ohh I am a counselor at an addiction rehab, Love helping patients past 4 years, pay is low therefore needed some xtra funds to pay for the usual most all of us need in Life. Thank you Giginova

If you are selling cats you won't find better prices than buyers on here. APA is a member here and in my home-state of PA. NEver worked with him but have heard great things on here about him and his prices.

I don't have significant converter experience but the one trade I did with APA was seamless. If you're wanting to go direct to a refinery I have nothing to add but if you search the forum you'll find all kinds of old threads about converters including some unnecessarily dramatic ones!

Refineries will never deal with the public, cash in hand type deals. I have contracts with refineries but I don’t own a refinery or anything like that. So if someone says they own a catalytic converter refinery, ask to see their equipment that refines catalytic converters.

APA I may have just figured out why we've been seeing such obscene market prices for cats and I believe the market is going to take a dive. All I'll commit to say is keep a sharp eye on the market.

I want to see that your still here next year buying cats.

This upcoming week should be a tell, my money is on that the prices in the next six months will be brutal. In no way do I profess to be a market annalists just an observer from the sidelines..
