    Good afternoon! I'm new here. I want to learn how to start, My catalytic recycling business. I'm always ready to learn something new ,not sure where to start i have an idea but not 100% sure . I will really appreciated if someone can guide me. I'm locate in Wisconsin. My English is not the best please be kind to me. Thank you !!!

    There is a lot to learn. I'm not educated on catalytic converters, but it looks like you will have a ton of learning to do. Recognizing the different types and having an accurate recovery database is the first place to start.

    Definitely a hard thing to just jump into without any prior experience, but good luck to you. General scrapping, anyone can do. More specific stuff like focusing on cats is considerably more difficult and also unfortunately more competitive.

    Hi and welcome to the forum from Las Vegas! I have little converter experience to add. But the business principles are the same. Buy for less than you sell. Pay fair because it's right (and also keeps other people who pay fair from poaching your clients!). And provide attentive, prompt and *reliable* service. You do that and you're already a mile ahead of most competition.
