Hey there scrappers. I am located in Monterey California , I am somewhat new to the scrapping world , I started scrapping during the pandemic, so I’ve been at it for a little over a year now. I have a good scrap yard I go to for all my scrap metal. However I’ve not once sold all my PCB’s that I have . I have a fairly large amount of boards , including a large collection of gold plated boards. If anyone can recommend the best buyer of PCB’s I would very much appreciate it. I’ve researched quite a bit of different companies that buy , but I haven’t gone thru with selling them yet due to being unsure .Any feedback I welcome.

Small world I grew up in the Monterey area! Born at the County hospital lived in Salinas and Prundale until I was a teenager. I am sure with all the Tech coming out of silicon valley there are PCB recyclers in the area. If you can't find an actual scrap yard to buy them see if one of the other recyclers will buy them. At one point for about a year I was selling to another recycler that had chinese buyers. He would pay me not much under what he was getting just to pad his loads and make them happy by getting more product.

If all else fails I am taking a trip to Monterey this summer in my pick up truck. I'll buy your boards if you still have them at that point.

Hi and welcome to the forum from Las Vegas! If you check the Buyer/Seller section of the forum you can find a lot of circuit board buyers including myself! You've got responses already from great folks in this thread so hopefully you're covered already. But if not check that section and you can find pricing from lots of buyers.

Lol....great job....have you had a personal experience with Boardsort or just trolling due to boredom?.....I don't care either way just trying to pass some time during heat of day until I can begin work again (have collapsed from heat exhaustion multiple times once behind the wheel)

Members often post what they get for shred and may even comment on which yards are trustworthy.

It could be perceived that I'm trolling in truth would like our newest member to have a profitable sale and not one that would discourage him from continuing the trade.
