Hey there! I am super excited to start scrapping, as I landed a new job where so much is thrown out or just sits around until we get tired of it and toss it in a rolloff.

From stainless steel and cast sinks, toilets, urinals, receptacles, cat5, coax, leftover machines to lumber and whatever else...

Here is my first little haul, which is about %33 of what I still have left to demo in the site it came from. We are "whiteboxing" two commercial sites at the moment, just myself and one other person. I have already been at the site this copper came from for about 3 months and finally got around to organizing what I have taken out.

The other site has a literal goldmine of AC cables, more than will fit in my pickup bed in one haul. I also found some VERY expensive audio cables from Tara Labs, which I have to sell, as they are worth more than I can imagine.

Anyways, enough with my rant, here are the two pictures.

  1. Clean copper and dirty copper that I need to depaint.
  2. Unstripped AC 12 ga cable, 14 ga, 12 ga, 8 ga, 6 ga and 2 ga that I need to strip.
  3. Communications wire that I need to sort.

Ponied up for a Stripmeister E250 on Thursday!

If this goes well for me, I have an eye to start purchasing reels at a local auction company in my state.
