Hello to everyone. Computer builder since 1994 and now trying electronic scrapping

    Howdy,

I've been building and repairing computers and laptops since 1994. I used to be a handy man plus had my own small construction company, then I was diagnosed with Dystonia and after 15 days in ICU was told that I could no longer work anymore. It was a devastating hit for my wife and I and after working 14-16 hour days for many years I didn't know what to do with myself. So I took a 3 year computer course as I didn't know what else I could do that wasn't labor intensive. Not everyone carried a computer around in their pockets back then when a 486 was a big deal. Anyway I still work although semi-retired and decided I wanted to give e-waste a shot for something different.
I am having a great time and doing alright for a hobby business and learning so much. Hopefully I'll learn much more now that I am a member of the forum.
