First Time Gold Recovery using Acetic Acid and Hydrogen Peroxide.

Hey guys first post here. So I've recently ran my first gold recovery. I took apart cell phones, computer boards, ribbons, etc. I combined them with 30% vinegar and 3% hydrogen peroxide and some sodium chloride. I let it sit for 10 days while stirring it often..
I ended up actually removing most of the gold flakes, but my issue is, there's so much residue mixed in with the gold, it's hard to isolate it. I just filtered the liquid, and there's quite a bit of gold mixed in with the "sludge. Unfortunately I can't post images yet, but.. imagine a coffee filter with a bunch of dirty residue on it, mixed in with very small gold flake.

My question is, how do I continue to refine and isolate the gold from this point on?

Thank you guys in advance. Looking forward to your help.

GoldRefiningForum.com would be a more appropriate forum for you. We don't really discuss gold refining here and they would know that stuff better.

NEW TO SCRAPPING? READ THIS: Build up your horde of magnetic and non-magnetic metals in two piles until you have a better understanding of the business. Magnetic material has low value and is mostly always steel / shred / short iron. Read old threads about non-magnetic metals and ewaste (and how to sort them), but don't forget that they generally have absolutely no tolerance for contamination (screw / iron / foreign material).

I second that recommendation, those are the folks with the knowledge and experience. I highly suggest you read all the recommended materials before posting questions. mike
