    New upstate NY scrapper

    Hello all,

I just decided to do this last week. So far been researching as much as i can before i start. My friend and i hope to turn this into a business.

My friend an i are both in the IT business now employed by different IT companies, i got the idea to do this because both our companies offer free recycling to our clients then just bring all the PC scrap to a local facility and get nothing for it. So we asked and our boss's already and they told us we can have everything since it saves them man hours not having to haul it

Ill have alot more questions then answers at this point, but i hope soon ill be the one answering questions for new people

    Thanks
    - Drozenski

Welocme to the board. IMO you guys are in a great position to do pretty well with recycling e-waste.. I agree with Kris Kringle, the e-scrap section of this forum has a ton of useful information, but I dont think you will need a month to get a good grasp on the process, you have a nice head start as Im sure you are already pretty familiar with the names and physical appearance of certain parts..(YOU KNOW WHAT YOUR LOOKIN AT).Good Luck!

    Welcome to the site.

As many will tell you boardsort.com and a user on here named easyrecycle both buy electronic scrap.

Like the others, you are in a great position to make some good cash. Congrats.
