    Hi from Germany

Hi all, American living in Germany here. Ive read just about every post in these forums and find it all either informative or amusing. I am just starting in the scrap game with no space or real tools, just snatching power cords and small stuff on big trash pick-up days. hoping to make a go of it soon as a real business.

    have fun.

Thanks for the welcome. I am a civilian type living here. used to be active Army a long time ago. As of now i am a full time dad while wifey boss works. I am also an Army Reservist. I am a small time scrapper type as I do not have much space, pretty much a cable pirate but have found a few motors and TVs here and there. always looking for a way to do more.

Welcome! I am also a full time dad, and my wife is a boss at her job too. Scrapping is mostly something I can do while at home. We live in a 2 bedroom 2 bath apartment for now, and I have limited space too. I suggest you find a closet, or small area and box your stuff up. I use the "spare bathroom". Chop up your wire into 6'' or so pieces and box it up, makes for easy storage, and easy transportation.

    Hope you have fun here!

My brother was stationed in Italy (Airborne. Hoorah) and love it so much when he got out he stayed there and works as a civi on post. He's in the computer department and I have started him thinking about ewaste recycling.

One day we hope to be able to save enough to visit him, his wife and the little nephew. Nephew speaks both Italian and English at that same time. Confuses the heck out of me....

Welcome to the group. Good luck with your scouting.
