    New guy that needs appliances!

Hi everyone. My name is Moe and i live out here in Charlotte NC and just started Easy Appliance Warehouse and Recycling.

I have been on the hunt for "scrap" appliances for the past week. Iv been scoring small but want to go big. Im trying to save as many appliances from the metal yards as i can so i can put them back out there to the public and make some nice penny while im at it.
I also done some scrapping with an old HVAC company I used to work for 2 years ago, thats when i found out you can make some cash for metals. Me and a neighbor go out once and while also after i give into his begging to use my truck to scrap. After following in on you guyss threads im learning more about dismantling what you get to maximize profits and its quite interesting.

    Thanks

Try whiteware retailers, if guarantee the tradein stuff will all get scrapped they will put it aside for you.
They don't want their tradein stuff to be repaired as every repaired item costs them a sale.
By trading in most buyers will buy the same brand.

Most of my lightbulbs are recycled oven bulbs.....

Theres a goldmine (haha) of info on this website.

I think it would be hard to see what your eating or even if your old lady is across the table from you, or is it the family dog,,,?

Thats the bad news that I dont like to hear. Since I posted on here and started digging around I found a bad policy being started by large retailers. Those large retailers have started denying guys like me from buying there broken haul aways. Small used appliance stores have been dropping like flys since this started. The retailers wont let there stuff go because of local competition that they dont want, so they rather destroy the appliances (working or not) and send the metal to china or export the appliances to South America. I have offered them way more than they get for them and they still denied me. As long as you are an American trying to supply jobs to people, they will not deal with you. Im so frustrated at this fact its killing me. Im starting deals with local scrappers here to go pick up the appliances that i get calls for and as long as they return them to me, I pay them twice the amount since it is more valuable to me. If i can get enough appliances I will begin to distribute them to other used appliance stores to help out. I am ticked off.
