hello everyone.

im not very sure where to start, but im sure its obvious that im new here. ive been reading through a good portion of this site for the past few days and ive already learned countless amounts of information, i have to say its a very good community and its great to see people from across the country supporting each other in what seems to be a very profitable business or hobby. honestly ive never sold one piece of metal to a scrapyard yet, or even collected any, however i do plan on doing so VERY soon after reading the very informative posts on this site. i finally decided to register and will hopefully be able to learn a lot here, and maybe eventually pass the acquired knowledge onto others.

of course, to tell you the truth i walked around my house kind of experimenting with ferrous/non-ferrous metals. my brother looked at me like i was crazy, until i showed him this site and the price listings for the local yard. i saw the dollar signs flash in his eyes, like they did mine.

Welcome and nothing cures the scrap feaver lke taking your first 50 pound bucket of copper. Well more of a got to have more then a cure but you catch my drift.
